Paint some wooden pegs to make people.
Raid the recycling bin for a shoebox to use as a house, and materials for furniture.
Mix in plenty of creativity and a long snowed-in afternoon.
Ta-da! Homemade dollhouse. I am in love.

This is really so good!! We are snowed in too--some sledding, some fighting, some more sledding, and then some more fighting. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the people and their house. They are same people we are using for our metro bus and the firehouse we created this morning. So I guess we are using our imaginations too to pass the time with all this snow.
ReplyDeleteTwo days later, and she is still playing with her peg-people dollhouse. How sad that the same is rarely true of store-bought toys... Even little ones are charmed by DIY! :)
